Abstract: New York City residents can look forward again to the availability of Yuengling beer. The Pottsville, PA brewery withdrew its supply in 1993 when regional demand outpaced supply, and Pennsylvania customers felt shortchanged. A new plant is scheduled to open in Mill Creek, PA to accommodate the demands of various markets, especially New York City. Filmmaker James Bartolomeo made a documentary about the brewery, its history, customer loyalty, and why the product disappeared from New York bars.
